This recipe is from a dear friend who recently passed away!! She was also my boss for 10 years!! She gave these away at Christmas time.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups sugar
1 ( 8 ) ounces cream cheese
1 cup oleo
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
4 - eggs
2 1/4 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 cup maraschino cherries (well drained and chopped)
1/2 cup chopped nuts

How To Make arlene's holiday gift bread

Step 1

Combine and mix well sugar, cream cheese, oleo and vanilla.

Step 2

Add one egg at a time and beat after each one.
Step 3

Then add the flour, baking powder, cherries and nuts.
Step 4

Bake in a greased and floured bundt pan at 350 degrees oven for 45 to 50 minutes.
