This recipe is from a dear friend who recently passed away!! She was also my boss for 10 years!!
She gave these away at Christmas

  • 1 1/2 c
  • 1 ( 8 ) oz
    cream cheese
  • 1 c
  • 1 1/2 tsp
  • 4
  • 2 1/4 c
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 3/4 c
    maraschino cherries (well drained and chopped)
  • 1/2 c
    chopped nuts

How to Make Arlene's Holiday Gift Bread


  1. Combine and mix well sugar, cream cheese, oleo and vanilla.
  2. Add one egg at a time and beat after each one.
  3. Then add the flour, baking powder, cherries and nuts.
  4. Bake in a greased and floured bundt pan at 350 degrees oven for 45 to 50 minutes.
