we used to make this bread at the bakery and it must have been good we sold out of it every day

Ingredients

  • ·
    cooking spray, of your choice
  • 1/2 c
    oil
  • 1 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 medium
    egg
  • 1 c
    applesauce, unsweetened
  • 1 1/2 c
    whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp
    allspice
  • 1 c
    raisins

How to Make Apple Sauce Bread

Step-by-Step

  1. preheat oven to 350. spray 5x9 inch loaf pan with cooking spray and dust with flour.
  2. beat together oil, sugar and egg, add applesauce. add dry ingredients and raisins, stirring until just combined. pour into prepared loaf pan. bake 35-40 minutes.
