Makes two loaves
Ingredients
- 4 cups diced and peeled mcintosh apples
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 sticks butter
- 3 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
How To Make apple loaf

Step 1mix apples and sugar in a large bowl. Leave at room temperature for 2 hours, stirring occasionlly.

Step 2Heat oven to 325*. Grease two 8 ½ by 4 ½ loaf pans

Step 3Melt butter let cool

Step 4mix flour, BS and cinnamon stir into apples. Stir in butter,eggs,and vanilla
-
Step 5I sprinkled the top with 2 tsp cinnamon and 1/4 sugar

Step 6Bake 1 1/4 to 1 ½ hours or until wooden pick comes out clean

Step 7Cool on wire rack for 10 mins. Before removing from pans to Cool completely.

Step 8Refrigerate until ready to use

Step 9Freezes well
