My best friend is a great baker and she gave me this recipe. I made it for my family and they just loved it. She said it's also good when you substitute the banana's with either sweet potatoes or canned pumpkin at your different times of the year.

  • 1/3 c
    butter or margerine
  • 2

  • 1 2/3 c
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 c
    walnut pieces
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract

How to Make Angie's Banana Nut Bread


  1. In a bowl mix dry ingredients : Flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder.
  2. In another bowl mix butter, eggs, water, sugar.
  3. pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix.
  4. In Last bowl mash up banana's and add to mix.Add 1 tsp of vanilla extract and walnuts and mix.
  5. Pour mix into a glass bread pan or in a metal pan that's been sprayed with cooking spray and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
