angie's banana nut bread

My best friend is a great baker and she gave me this recipe. I made it for my family and they just loved it. She said it's also good when you substitute the banana's with either sweet potatoes or canned pumpkin at your different times of the year.

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup butter or margerine
- 2 - eggs
- 3-4 - banana's
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 2/3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup walnut pieces
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Step 1In a bowl mix dry ingredients : Flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder.

Step 2In another bowl mix butter, eggs, water, sugar.

Step 3pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix.

Step 4In Last bowl mash up banana's and add to mix.Add 1 tsp of vanilla extract and walnuts and mix.

Step 5Pour mix into a glass bread pan or in a metal pan that's been sprayed with cooking spray and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
