Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups peeled, cored and shredded apples
- 1 cup walnut halves, chopped
- 1/2 cup aged cheddar cheese, shredded
How To Make aged cheddar apple nut bread

Step 1Heat oven to 350°F. Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.

Step 2Add eggs, one at a time, beating each until blended.

Step 3Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in another bowl; then gradually add to butter mixture.

Step 4Fold in apples, walnuts and cheddar. (Batter will be stiff.)

Step 5Transfer to a greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.

Step 6Cool for 10 minutes; remove from pan to a wire rack.
