a simple cornbread
This is a great and easy cornbread! I got this from a food friend known as Pointsevenout! I'm posting it the way I made it, using less sugar because I was serving this with ham bone soup. I'm also adding my photo.

Ingredients
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup corn meal
- 3/4 cup sugar - i used 1/3 cup
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 large egg
- 1/3 cup corn oil
- 1 cup milk
How To Make a simple cornbread

Step 1Mix all dry ingredients together.

Step 2Mix all wet ingredients together.

Step 3Now combine both and mix til just moistened.

Step 4Pour into a greased loaf pan.

Step 5Bake at 400 degrees for about 45 minutes or til a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Step 6When cooled, slice.
