    salad oil
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1 c
    cornmeal, yellow
  • 3/4 c
    cream-style corn
  • 1 Tbsp
    baking powder
  • 1.5 tsp
  • 2
    green onions, chopped
  • 4 small
    jalapeno peppers, chopped
  • 1 c
    grated cheddar cheese

How to Make Tex-Mex Cornbread


  1. Combine all ingredients except cheese...add half the cheese.
  2. Pour into a well greased 8x12" pan and sprinkle the rest of the cheese over the top.
  3. Bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
