How To Make swiss cheese french bread

  • Example of the cut bread stuffed with cheese ready to bake.
    Step 1
Cut bread into 1" slices by cutting diagonal strips down one side and repeating the strips on the opposite end to create a diamond effect. Place bread onto foil in a baking pan, creating a bowl effect with foil so as the sauce won't flow onto pan.
  • Step 2
Place 1 slice cheese between each slice of the bread, making sure not to miss any slices of bread.
  • Step 3
Mix remaining ingredients together. Spread on the top and sides of the bread.
  • Step 4
Add another piece of foil over the top of the prepared bread covering it completely. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25-30 minutes.
