Ingredients
- 1 large loaf of french bread
- 1 pound Swiss cheese, sliced into 1 inch cubes
- 1 1/2 - 2 sticks margarine, softened
- 1 - 2 teaspoons Lawry's seasoning salt
- 1 - 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
How To Make swiss cheese french bread
-
Step 1Cut bread into 1" slices by cutting diagonal strips down one side and repeating the strips on the opposite end to create a diamond effect. Place bread onto foil in a baking pan, creating a bowl effect with foil so as the sauce won't flow onto pan.
-
Step 2Place 1 slice cheese between each slice of the bread, making sure not to miss any slices of bread.
-
Step 3Mix remaining ingredients together. Spread on the top and sides of the bread.
-
Step 4Add another piece of foil over the top of the prepared bread covering it completely. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25-30 minutes.
