Swiss Cheese Bread with Beau Monde Seasoning

Now that you have made your Beau Monde seasoning here is a great way to use it.

  • 1
    loaf french bread
  • 12 slice
    swiss cheese
  • 1 lb
    butter (softened) yes! 1 pound
  • 1 Tbsp
    onion, grated
  • 1 tsp
    mustard, prepared
  • 2 tsp
    lemon juice, fresh
  • 1 tsp
    poppy seeds
  • 1 Tbsp
    beau monde seasoning

How to Make Swiss Cheese Bread with Beau Monde Seasoning


  1. Slice french bread on the diagonal, 3/4 of the way through the bread. Make sure that you do not cut all the way through the bottom of the bread.
  2. Place one slice of cheese in each slice of bread.
  3. Mix remaining ingredients together and spread evenly over top of bread.
  4. Wrap loaf in foil and bake at 325-degrees for 25-30 minutes.
    Serve and Enjoy!
