Swiss Cheese Bread with Beau Monde Seasoning

Now that you have made your Beau Monde seasoning here is a great way to use it.

loaf french bread
12 slice
swiss cheese
1 lb
butter (softened) yes! 1 pound
1 Tbsp
onion, grated
1 tsp
mustard, prepared
2 tsp
lemon juice, fresh
1 tsp
poppy seeds
1 Tbsp
beau monde seasoning


1Slice french bread on the diagonal, 3/4 of the way through the bread. Make sure that you do not cut all the way through the bottom of the bread.
2Place one slice of cheese in each slice of bread.
3Mix remaining ingredients together and spread evenly over top of bread.
4Wrap loaf in foil and bake at 325-degrees for 25-30 minutes.
