This is my version of a simple recipe I found years ago in a newspaper. I added a few ingredients and came up with a recipe that is simple and delicious!

How to Make Southern Spoon Bread


  1. Preheat ove to 400 degrees. Spray muffin pan (12 muffin size) with non-stick cooking spray. Combine four, cornmeal mix, and sugar. Add milk and mayo. Mix with wooden spoon until doughy. Spoon each muffin cup about half full. Bake 15-20 minutes until golden on top. Delicious with real butter!
