- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup cream-style corn
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup self-rising corn meal
- 1/2 - medium onion, grated (optional)
- 2 - eggs, beaten
How To Make sour cream corn bread

Step 1Heat the butter in an 8 X 8 baking pan or an 8-inch cast-iron skillet at 350 until melted, tilting the pan to coat.

Step 2Combine the corn, sour cream, cornmeal, onion and the eggs in a bowl and mix well.

Step 3Pour in the melted butter and mix well.

Step 4Spoon into the prepared pan.

Step 5Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes or until brown.
