Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Stoneground Cornmeal
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 - Egg
- 2 teaspoons canola oil
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Boiling Water
- - Pan Spray
- - Small-8-9 inch Skillet with Lid
How To Make skillet cornbread

Step 1Mix first 4 ingredients in small bowl.

Step 2Mix next three ingredients in small bowl.

Step 3Warm skillet(lid on) & spray with pan spray.

Step 4Boil Water

Step 5Mix wet ingredients into dry. Then mix in boiling water. Stir only until well combined. Pour into skillet & cover with lid. Cook until browned & with wide spatula, flip over. Continue to cook (without lid) until firm to the touch -- total time about 5 minutes. This is on medium heat. Cut into wedges and serve warm. This is great when you are in a hurry since it mixes in a flash and cooks really fast.
