This is so easy to make and oh so yummy with lots of butter slathered on it!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 1/4 cups shredded cheese(any kind you like)
  • 1 - egg, well beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted

How To Make savory cheddar bread

  • Step 1
    Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, garlic salt, italian seasoning, dry mustard and cheese; set aside
  • Step 2
    Combine egg, milk and melted butter; add all at once to dry ingredients
  • Step 3
    Stir all ingredients until just moistened
  • Step 4
    Spread batter in a greased 8-1/2 x 4-1/2 inch loaf pan.
  • Step 5
    Bake at 350 degrees F. for 40-45 mintues.
