long loaf sour dough or french bread
1 1/2 lb
tomatoes
2 Tbsp
olive oil

bunch cilantro, chopped fine

cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp
red pepper flakes
3/4 c
monterey jack cheese, shredded

How to Make Salsa Bruschetta

Step-by-Step

  • 1Set oven to broil.
  • 2Slice loaf of bread down the middle and brown slightly under the broiler.
  • 3In a bowl, mix tomatoes, olive oil, cilantro, garlic, red pepper and cheese.
  • 4Cover cut side of bread with tomato mixture.
  • 5Place under broiler until the whole thing begins to brown and the cheese begins to melt - about 2 minutes.
  • 6Remove and slice into serving size pieces.
