  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 3 1/4 cups bread flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • TOPPING
  • 3 tablespoons butter melted
  • 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary, minced
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

How To Make rosemary focaccia bread

  • Step 1
In a small bowl, combine the warm water, yeast, and sugar, and let sit for 10 minutes until foamy. Attach the dough hook to your KitchenAid stand mixer.
  • Step 2
Add the flour, salt, and rosemary to the mixer. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil, and mix on speed 1 until the dough comes together.
  • Step 3
Then knead on speed 2 for about 10 minutes until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
  • Step 4
Place in an oiled bowl. Cover and let rise about 1 hour until doubled in size.
  • Step 5
Oil a 9X13 pan and place the dough in the pan, spreading it out to fit the pan. Using your fingertips, dimple the dough all over the top.
  • Step 6
Pour the melted butter over the top and sprinkle with rosemary and Parmesan. Cover and let rise 30 more minutes.
  • Step 7
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Bake the bread for about 20 minutes until browned and crispy.
