How To Make rosemary focaccia bread
-
Step 1In a small bowl, combine the warm water, yeast, and sugar, and let sit for 10 minutes until foamy. Attach the dough hook to your KitchenAid stand mixer.
-
Step 2Add the flour, salt, and rosemary to the mixer. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil, and mix on speed 1 until the dough comes together.
-
Step 3Then knead on speed 2 for about 10 minutes until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
-
Step 4Place in an oiled bowl. Cover and let rise about 1 hour until doubled in size.
-
Step 5Oil a 9X13 pan and place the dough in the pan, spreading it out to fit the pan. Using your fingertips, dimple the dough all over the top.
-
Step 6Pour the melted butter over the top and sprinkle with rosemary and Parmesan. Cover and let rise 30 more minutes.
-
Step 7Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Bake the bread for about 20 minutes until browned and crispy.
