How to Make Potato Scones


  1. Sift flour, salt and baking powder; add potato and shortening; work in with finger tips. Add milk mix to a soft dough. Roll out 3/4" on floured board. Cut with biscuit cutter and cook on hot greased griddle about 20 minutes, turning over when half cooked.
  2. Split, butter and serve hot.
