Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup mashed potatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 3/4 cup milk
- 4 tablespoons baking powder
How To Make potato scones

Step 1Sift flour, salt and baking powder; add potato and shortening; work in with finger tips. Add milk mix to a soft dough. Roll out 3/4" on floured board. Cut with biscuit cutter and cook on hot greased griddle about 20 minutes, turning over when half cooked.

Step 2Split, butter and serve hot.
