Ingredients
- 2 packages jffy cornbread
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 1 medium chopped bell pepper
- 1 pound velveta cheese cubed
- 1 - can creamed corn
- 1 - jalapeno pepper chopped
- 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
How To Make * mexican cornbread

Step 1cook meat spices, onion and peppers together until meat is brown. drain meat well.

Step 2In a bowl put 2 pkg of cornbread and creamed corn.

Step 3Pour 1/2 the batter in a cake pan. Top with meat then top the meat with small cubes of the velveta. The more cheese the better :)

Step 4Cover the dish with the remaining batter.

Step 5cook uncovered in the oven at 375 degrees for 40 minutes or until the bread is slightly browned on top.
