  • 2 cups ballard cornbread mix
  • 1-1/2 cup milk
  • 1 can cream style corn
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons hot pepper sauce
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 3 - eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda
  • 4 ounces cheddar cheese
  • 4 ounces mozzarella cheese
  • 4 ounces sharp cheddar cheese
  • 6-10 - mexican hot peppers
  • 1 pound hot sausage

How To Make mexican corn bread

  • Step 1
    Put 1/4 cup bacon grease into pan. Let get hot. Pour 1/2 of cornbread batter in pan. Put cheeses, hot peppers, and meat in. Pour other 1/2 of cornbread batter on top.
  • Step 2
    Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
