Ingredients
- 4 teaspoons grated orange peel
- 3/4 cup boiling water
- 1/3 cup orange juice
- 2 cups gluten free flour mix
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 medium egg
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
How To Make gluten-free orange chocolate chip bread

Step 1Place orange peel in a small bowl. Add the 3/4 cup boiling water to it. let stand for ten minutes.

Step 2Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda. In another bowl, whisk the egg, butter, vanilla and reserved orange mixture. Add the orange juice. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in chocolate chips.

Step 3Pour into a greased 8-in. x 4-in. loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack. Yield: 1 loaf (12 servings).
