Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 stick
    butter, do not use margarine
  • 6 Tbsp
    mayonaise, do nott use salad dressing
  • 3 clove
    garlic, use a garlic press, do not use garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp
    dried oregano, crumpled
  • 3/4 c
    parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1
    loaf french bread, cut lengthwise

How to Make GILROY GARLIC BREAD

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine first 6 ingredients in a medium bowl. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spread garlic butter mixture on cut side of bread. Wrap each bread half in foil. Place bread on baking sheet, cut side up. Bake 20 minutes. Remove foil from bread. Preheat broiler, broil cut side up until brown. about 2 minutes.
