  Preheat broiler. Cook butter,wine,oil,garlic,salt and pepper in a small pan until mixture reduces to a paste. Brush mixture on French bread, broil until lightly golden brown under hot broiler,about 30 seconds. I made a correction to the garlic amount,I love garlic as much as anyone,but I think 10 heads was a mistake,I used 3 and it was super garliciky. Add more if you like!
