Incredibly delicious sourdough dinner rolls made with freshly milled flour. Not only are these dinner rolls super tasty, but they are also very nutritious! Perfect for the holiday table!

Ingredients
- 3 1/2-4 cups freshly milled flour
- 1/2 cup sourdough starter
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
How To Make fresh milled sourdough dinner rolls

Step 1In the bowl of a stand mixer add the water, sourdough starter, olive oil, and honey. Pulse until combined.

Step 2Add 2 cups of the flour. Cover and let soak for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Step 3Add the salt and continue adding flour 1/2 cup at a time on low speed until you have a soft dough that cleans the sides of the bowl.

Step 4Knead on speed 2 for 10 minutes or until the dough is stretchy and smooth.

Step 5Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl and cover with plastic wrap.

Step 6Let rise overnight or for 8-24 hours in a warm spot.

Step 7The next day, turn dough onto a lightly floured work surface.

Step 8Divide into 12 equal pieces.

Step 9Roll each piece into a round dough ball and pinch the seam closed.

Step 10Put shaped rolls on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.

Step 11Cover with plastic wrap or damp tea towel and let rise for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

Step 12Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 13Brush tops of the rolls with an egg wash.

Step 14Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 15Let cool completely before storing.

Step 16Store in an airtight container on the counter for 3-4 days. Freeze in freezer safe bag for up to 3 months.
