  • 1
    large loaf of french bread
  • 1 stick
    butter, softened
  • 6 oz
    can of french fried onions, crushed
  • 1 c
    your favorite shredded cheese (chedder & colby are mine)

How to Make French Fried Onion French Bread


  1. Preheat you oven to 350 degrees. Slice French bread horizontally.
  2. In small mixing bowl, mix softened butter with crushed onions and generously spread mixture onto bread halves, then sprinkle the cheese over the butter/onion mixture.
  3. Place the breads on a foil lined baking sheet and bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes but watch carefully after 10 so they dont over bake.
  4. These are great by themselves or as an appetizer or to accompany any meal Enjoy!
