1 stick
butter, softened
6 oz
can of french fried onions, crushed
1 c
your favorite shredded cheese (chedder & colby are mine)

How to Make French Fried Onion French Bread


  • 1Preheat you oven to 350 degrees. Slice French bread horizontally.
  • 2In small mixing bowl, mix softened butter with crushed onions and generously spread mixture onto bread halves, then sprinkle the cheese over the butter/onion mixture.
  • 3Place the breads on a foil lined baking sheet and bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes but watch carefully after 10 so they dont over bake.
  • 4These are great by themselves or as an appetizer or to accompany any meal Enjoy!
