The smell of bread baking is such a welcoming comfort. I love to suprise my family with the smell of bread baking when they wake up from sleeping in on a Saturday morning. Hope your family enjoys this as much as my family does.

  • 1 c
    water (70 to 80 degrees)
  • 1/4 c
    buttermilk blend powder
  • 1 1/2 c
    shredded sharp cheddar cheese (6oz)
  • 4 1/2 tsp
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 3 c
    bread flour (i also use all purpose flour)
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    active dry yeast

How to Make Favorite Cheddar Bread (Machine)


  1. Place all ingredients in order of bread machine directions.
  2. Choose light color for crust.
    (Do not use pre-timer)
  3. Yields 1 loaf.
