Easy Cheesy Garlic Bread

Jeanne Gliddon

Many years ago I was at a friend's home for dinner and she served this wonderful Garlic Bread. I was so impressed that I asked if she would share the recipe and she gladly did. I couldn't believe how lucky I was when I found out how easy it was to prepare! I have wowed many people when I serve it at a gathering and they always ask me how to make it. To me, this is the best Garlic Bread that I have ever eaten and I will never go back to mixing butter and garlic together and spreading it on the bread before broiling it. This is just the best!

1 medium
loaf sour dough french bread
1/2 - 1 c
butter, softened (amount depends on size of loaf)

1With a serrated knife, cut your loaf of Sour Dough Garlic Bread in half lengthways.
2Spread the softened butter on both halves.
3Lightly sprinkle Garlic Salt on both halves (enough to taste but not overpowering).
4Fairly liberally, sprinkle the Grated Parmesan Cheese on both halves (Kraft Grated Parmesan Cheese in a can may also be used).
5Lightly sprinkle Paprika on both halves to add color.
6Broil both halves until they are golden brown and bubbly.
7Slice, serve and wait for the compliments!
