    wondra flour
  • 1 c
    chopped nuts
  • 1 c
    cut-up dates
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar, packed
  • 1 1/4 c
    buttermilk
  • 1/3 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1
    egg

How to Make Date-Nut Bread

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine all the ingredients in one easy step to make this flavorful, date-nut quick bread.
  2. Heat oven to 350*. Grease loaf pan, 9x5x3 inches. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Pour batter into pan. Bake until wooden pick inserted in the center comes our clean, 60-65 minutes. Immediately remove from pan; cool completely before slicing. Store tightly covered.
