My friend Darla gave me this recipe - I would add a little bit of black olives and a touch of hot sauce before baking - I had a recipe like this 30 years ago I found in Gourmet - great bread - enjoy!

- 1/2 cup water 80 - 90 f
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 1 1/3 cups bread flour
- 1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese (the sharper the better flavor)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/4 teaspoons fast rising or bread machine yeast
