This recipe was handed down from my daddy who passed away 2 years ago. He always said it was a "no-fail" recipe...makes perfect southern style cornbread every time. Enjoy.

How to Make Daddy's Buttermilk Cornbread

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Mix all ingredients by hand just until incorporated. Pour batter into a greased or sprayed iron skillet and bake about 45 minutes until golden brown.
