corn light bread

This is a great alternative to corn bread - it takes great! Not as "crumbly", as corn bread. Great for the fall with stew! You can also use flavored corn meal or put these in a muffin tin. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 2 cups plain corn meal
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 - egg
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/3 cup oil
How To Make corn light bread

Step 1Mix dry ingredients. Add buttermilk and egg, then oil last. Bake in a greased loaf pan at 350 for 45 to 50 minutes or until done. Enjoy!
