cheesy garlic bread
This bread is terrific as is, however, if you'd like, you can add parsley (fresh or dried), cut down on the amount of garlic or use more, use fresh mozzarella in place of the shredded, or use a cheese blend. I've used plain mozzarella, and I've also used mozzarella/provolone blend. It's your bread, make it your way :-)

Ingredients
- 1 - loaf french bread
- 12 oz bags shredded mozzarella
- 1 stick butter
- 6 cloves garlic, finely chopped
How To Make cheesy garlic bread
-
Step 1Cut French Bread in half length wise. Then cut each half into half (making 4 large pieces)
-
Step 2Place butter and garlic in small pan. Heat over low heat until butter is completely melted.
-
Step 3Brush butter and garlic on the bread (I use a silicone brush for this and it works very well).
-
Step 4Put shredded mozzarella on each piece of bread. Use as much or little as you'd like.
-
Step 5On middle rack in oven, bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Keep a close eye on the bottoms of the bread. If you don't like your bread dark on the bottom, you can remove the bread after 8 minutes and finish toasting the cheese in the broiler or toaster oven.
