- 2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup crushed red pepper to taste
- 3/4 cup gruyere cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh dillweed
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
How To Make cheese herb biscuits

Step 1Combine the flour, baking powder and salt in a processor bowl.

Step 2Add butter and process until it is the consistency of meal.

Step 3Put in a medium-size bowl. Stir in the cheese, dillweed and red pepper.

Step 4Add the milk, stirring until a soft dough forms that pulls away from the side of the bowl.

Step 5Knead on a lightly floured surface just until the dough is mixed.

Step 6Roll 1/2 inch thick; cut with a floured heart-shaped cutter.

Step 7Arrange on an ungreased baking sheet.

Step 8Brush with the melted butter.

Step 9Bake at 450 for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
