My sister-in-law passed this recipe along to me. It's a great bread to use with dips!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 can beer
  • 1-2 tablespoon butter/margarine, melted
  • OPTIONAL ADD INS - ALL, SOME, OR NONE
  • 1 - envelope (1 oz) dry ranch seasoning
  • - garlic powder
  • - shredded cheese

How To Make beer bread

  • Step 1
    Grease a standard loaf pan. Preheat oven to 375.
  • Step 2
    Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together (and any add-ins). Stir in beer. Pour into bread pan. Top with melted butter.
  • Step 3
    Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from center. Let cool slightly and remove from pan. Finish cooling on a wire rack.
