There are a few recipes for Beer bread out there, but none as simple(and tasty!) as this one. You can even mix it in the baking pan for easy clean up. Be sure to leave a sheet pan on the shelf below the pan to catch any excess butter that may drip during cooking.

  • 3 c
    sifted flour
  • 3 Tbsp
baking powder(omit if using self-rising flour)
  • 1 tsp
    salt(omit if using self-rising flour)
  • 1/4 c
  • 1(12ounce)
    cans beer
  • 1/2 c
    butter, melted

How to Make BEER BREAD

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Mix dry ingredients and beer. Sifting flour is very important.
  3. Pour into greased loaf pan
  4. Pour melted butter over mixture
  5. Bake 1 hour, remove from pan and cool for at least 15 minutes
  6. If want to use non-alcoholic beer, that is fine, but I do recommend adding a packet of Dry Active Yeast so that you get the proper rise.
