Ingredients
- - 3 cups flour
- - 1 tbsp. baking powder
- - 1 tsp. baking soda
- - 1 tbsp. sugar
- - 1 tsp. salt
- - 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
- - 1/2 cup sour cream or plain yogurt
How To Make bannoch

Step 1Preheat oven to3 50. Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt into mixing bowl. Repeat twice. Add buttermilk and sour cream and mix well. Form dough into ball and transfer to lightly floured surface. Dough will be sticky

Step 2Roll dough into a 12 x 7 inch oval; score top carefully and transfer to ungreased baking sheet. Bake til loaf is brown, about 30 minutes. Serve warm. Why Not for breakfast?
