Ingredients

  • 12
    bacon strips, diced
  • 1 lb
    loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil, divided
  • 1 c
    shredded mozzarella cheese,
  • 1
    envelope ranch salad dressing mix
  • NOTE: THE PREP TIME INCLUDES 30 MINUTES TO LET THE DOUGH RISE TO DOUBLE THE SIZE,

How to Make Bacon Bread

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat for 5 minutes or until partially cooked; drain on paper towels.
  2. Roll out dough to 1/2-inch thickness; brush with 1 tablespoon olive oil. Cut into 1-inch pieces; place in a large bowl. Add bacon, cheese, dressing mix and remaining oil; toss to coat.
  3. Arrange pieces in a bundt pan. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes or until doubled. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes. Cover with foil; bake 5-10 minutes longer, or until golden brown.
