  • 6 slice
    bacon, cut into small pieces (i use thick cut bacon)
  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/4 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • 1/3 c
  • 1 c
    sour cream

How to Make Awesome Bacon Loaf


  1. Preheat your oven to 350F. Grease or Spray an 8 1/2x 4 1/2 loaf pan (I use glass) and set aside. Cut up your 6 slices of bacon into small squares and fry bacon in a pan until crispy. Drain
  2. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda in a medium bowl set aside.
  3. Combine eggs, milk, and sour cream with a whisk in a small bowl. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Pour the egg mixture all at once into the flour mixture. Stir until just moistened. Fold bacon into dough. Turn into a greased loaf pan. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until center of bread tests done with a tester. Cool 10 minutes. Enjoy!
