I love the 4 little loaves this makes. Makes it so easy to not need to use it all in a very few days.

yield makes 4 mini loaves (prep is however long it takes your bread machine to make the dough)

Ingredients

  • 10 ounces brewed cup extra bold coffee (use any extra bold coffee flavor), cooled to room temperature
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup dark molasses
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 2 cups bread flour
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt or to taste
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast

How To Make dark roast coffee yeast bread, bread machine

  • Step 1
    Place all ingredients in bread machine pan in order suggested by manufacture. Select dough cycle. When the machine indicates the end of the final rise, remove the dough.
  • Step 2
    Shape the dough into four mini loaves and place in mini loaf pans. Let rise until doubled in size. Shape the dough into four mini loaves and place in mini loaf pans. Let rise until doubled in size. Half way through rising preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Step 3
    Bake for 30 minutes or until the loaves sound hollow when tapped on the bottom.
