Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 1/4 cups raisins
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
How To Make welsh tea muffins

Step 1Mix flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, soda, cinnamon and nutmeg in a large bowl.

Step 2Mix in raisins.

Step 3Whisk eggs, milk and melted butter.

Step 4Make a well in the dry ingredients and add the egg mixture. Stir together quickly. Batter will be lumpy.

Step 5Fill greased muffin cups two-thirds full and bake until tester comes out clean. Bake at 400 degrees 20-25 minutes.
