Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter, unsalted
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups sifted flour
- 1 cup milk
- 4-5 cups fresh berries
- - granulated sugar mixed with cinnamon or nutmeg for topping
How To Make very berry muffins

Step 1Cream the softened butter and sugar;add the eggs and mix very gently. Add the vanilla, baking powder and salt;alternately add the flour and milk. DON'T OVER BEAT!

Step 2By hand, mix in the berries; spoon into muffin papers. Top each with 1/2 tsp. sugar mixture. Bake at 375° F. for 25 minutes. (Sometimes I use frozen berries, not fresh. Don't thaw or add the frozen juice. Will take longer to bake.)
