  • 2 c
    self-rising flour
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 2 stick
    melted butter
  • 1/4 tsp

How to Make Tennessee Sour Cream Biscuits


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
    Mix sour cream and melted butter in a medium size bowl
  2. Stir in one cup of the flour and the salt
    when blended add the other cup of flour
  3. Spoon into ungreased muffin pan, filling the cups 2/3 full
    Bake 25-30 minutes till golden brown
  4. Note: you can use lower fat sour cream and light butter and they are just as good
