1/2 c
sugar
2 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
baking soda
1/2 tsp
salt

(8 oz.) carton vanilla yogurt
1
egg, lightly beaten
1/4 c
butter, melted
2 Tbsp
milk
1 c
diced, peeled tangerine
1 Tbsp
grated tangerine peel

How to Make Tangerine Muffins

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients.
  • 2In a small bowl, combine the yogurt, egg, butter, and milk until smooth; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.
  • 3Stir in tangerine and peel.
  • 4Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups two-thirds full.
  • 5Bake at 400 degrees for 18-20 minutes.
  • 6Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan to wire rack.
