Ingredients

  • 500 grams self rising flour
  • 300 milliliters cream
  • 1 cup lemonade/7up

How To Make super easy scones

  • Step 1
    Sift self raising flour into a bowl, make a well
  • Step 2
    and pour in cream and lemonade.
  • Step 3
    Mix with a flat-bladed knife until the mixture forms a soft dough.
  • Step 4
    Turn out onto a floured surface and pat into a 2 cm thick round.
  • Step 5
    Using a 5-cm round cutter, cut out 12 rounds.
  • Step 6
    Arrange closely together on a paper lined baking tray and bake in a preheated 200C / 400C oven until golden brown (approx. 12 to 15 minutes).
