Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spices
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 - eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups peeled, cored and finely chopped Granny Smith apples (about 2 large apples)
- TOPPING
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 4 teaspoons margarine

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line muffin tins with paper liners.

Step 2In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.

Step 3In medium bowl, combine eggs, pumpkin, oil and apples.

Step 4Add pumpkin mixture to flour mixture, stir just to moistened.

Step 5Spoon batter into lined muffin cups 3/4 full.

Step 6TOPPING: In small bowl, combine topping ingredients, mixing with fork until blended.

Step 7Sprinkle evenly over muffins.

Step 8Bake at 350 degrees 35 minutes or until done.
