I think I got this recipe from a very old Betty Crocker recipe book of my mother's. I am not sure. However, it turns out great and is a good one to add herbs, cheese, etc.
Great basic muffin, not too sweet and great with many dishes. These turn out realy well every time!

How To Make
Heat oven to 400F degrees. Grease bottoms of 12 medium muffin cups (2 3/4 inches in diameter). Beat eggs; stir in milk and oil. Set aside.
Stir up well the dry ingredients and make a well in the center. Add the wet ingredients to the well. Stir just enough to moisten all, do not overstir. Batter will be lumpy.
Fill muffin cups 2/3 to 3/4 full. Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately remove from the pan; and cool on wire racks. Serve hot, or cool to freeze for a later time.
