oatmeal muffins
When making the recipe I usually split the batter in half, to make 6 muffins with chocolate chips and 6 with dried cranberries. That way you can have a muffin for breakfast and on with afternoon tea.

Ingredients
- WET INGREDIENTS
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- DRY INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- ADDITONS-CHOCOLATE CHIP
- 1/2 cup mini semi-sweet chips
- ADDITIONS-CRANBERRY
- 1/2 cup Craisins
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- TOPPING
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons oats
How To Make oatmeal muffins

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2Spray muffin tin with cooking spray.

Step 3Whisk wet ingredients together. Let stand for 10 minutes.

Step 4Combine dry ingredients.

Step 5Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients.

Step 6Divide batter in half. To one half add chocolate chips. To the other half add craisins and cinnamon.

Step 7Spoon batter evenly into muffin cups.

Step 8Combine topping and sprinkle over muffins.

Step 9Bake 20 - 25 minutes.

Step 10Cool in pan on wire rack for 5 minutes. Then remove from pan.
