This is my grandmothers recipe for her banana bread. Every time I make this recipe it takes me back to being a child and watching her cook in the kitchen while singing in Italian.

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 - eggs
- 1 cup smashed bananas
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
How To Make nana rose's banana nut bread

Step 1Preheat oven to 350.

Step 2Combine and mix ingredients in a large bowl.

Step 3Pour into bread loaf pan.

Step 4Bake for 50 - 60 mins or until toothpick comes out clean. You can use this recipe for muffins as well. Bake 350 for 20 minutes.
