How to Make Granola Buttermilk Muffins
- Heat oven to 400.
- Grease bottoms of 12 medium muffin cups, 2 1/2x1 1/4".
- Beat in brown sugar, shortening and buttermilk thoroughly.
- Stir in remaining ingredients just until flour is moistened (batter will be lumpy).
- Fill muffin cups 3/4 full.
- Bake until light brown, 20-25 minutes.
- Immediately remove from pan; serve warm.
- Makes 12 muffins.
