How to Make Granola Buttermilk Muffins
- 1Heat oven to 400.
- 2Grease bottoms of 12 medium muffin cups, 2 1/2x1 1/4".
- 3Beat in brown sugar, shortening and buttermilk thoroughly.
- 4Stir in remaining ingredients just until flour is moistened (batter will be lumpy).
- 5Fill muffin cups 3/4 full.
- 6Bake until light brown, 20-25 minutes.
- 7Immediately remove from pan; serve warm.
- 8Makes 12 muffins.
