Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
- 1 - egg
- 1 cup minced onion
- 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
How To Make ~ golden cheddar muffins ~

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degree F. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, onion powder and baking powder. Stir in onion and cheese. Whisk together milk, egg and butter. Pour into flour mixture and stir until all of the flour mixture is moistened.

Step 2Spoon mixture evenly into greased muffin tins. A heaping tablespoon to start, once all tins are full, if you have leftover batter - evenly distribute between each muffin. I then sprinkle each top with extra cheese.

Step 3Bake for 20 minutes or until pick inserted into center comes out clean. Best served fresh from oven.
