How to Make Ever Ready Blend
- 1Mix flour ,baking powder and salt together...
- 2Sift all together into a large mixing bowl..
- 3Cut shortening into the dry ingredients with a pastry blender or with 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse meal...
- 4Store in covered glass jars or crockery bowl for several weeks..
I store mine in the Fridge ..
- 5Makes 5 3/4 quarts
