crisp bacon muffins

bacon is good. bread is good. bacon and bread together...is even better! I will make these and let you know how they turn out!

Ingredients For crisp bacon muffins

  • 8 slice
    bacon
  • 1 1/3 c
    cake flour
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1
    egg
  • 3/4 c
    milk
  • 1 Tbsp
    bacon fat

How To Make crisp bacon muffins

  • 1
    Saute bacon until crisp, and chop fine.
  • 2
    Sift flour, sugar, salt and baking powder together.
  • 3
    Add the bacon.
  • 4
    Combine the egg, milk and bacon fat, and blend into the first mixture.
  • 5
    Pour into buttered muffin tins, one-third full, and bake at 425 for 15-20 minutes.
